Part-time Instructors

Averages 32.5 hours per week, in both Stockton and Modesto, CA

Our Instructors work on a daily basis with groups of consumers providing training in and around the community. They help adult individuals learn how to live their lives a little more independently using the natural supports in their environment. Bus training, recreation and leisure, behavioral coping skills, and basic life skills are all important parts of their lesson plans. Working as a direct staff member requires several attributes, including a true desire to work with the developmentally disabled, a personal vehicle that is safe and reliable for the purpose of providing transportation to the individuals served in our program, and clearance through the Department of Justice.

Part-time Skills Trainers

Averages 32.5 varied hours per week in Modesto, CA

Our Skills Trainers work with adult individuals one-on-one, helping them learn how to function in the world around them. Because these consumers live on their own, they need assistance with more independent activities (such as going to doctor’s visits or learning to cook and clean). Budgeting, hygiene, parenting, and emergency support are daily aspects of this program. Working as a Skills Trainer requires several attributes, including a true desire to work with the developmentally disabled, a personal vehicle that is safe and reliable for the purpose of providing transportation to the individuals served in our program, and clearance through the Department of Justice.

Program Manager

OpenDoor Services, Inc. has an opening for a Program Manager at our Stockton location.  This position is responsible for ensuring quality training and support to developmentally disabled adults, and supervision of staff.  Must have clear DMV record, reliable vehicle with insurance, ability to pass CCL clearance process, and management skills required. 

3 yr experience in social services field specifically developmentally disabled population, including 1 yr in a behavior management system; or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services required.  Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, vacation/sick/holiday and more!  Salary DOE.
